The Lower Savannah-Salkehatchie River Basin Council is composed of a diverse group of stakeholders from eight different water interest categories. The Council, appointed by SCDNR in September 2023, currently consists of 26 members and is responsible for developing the Lower Savannah-Salkehatchie River Basin Plan.
